The Networks Project speaks through colour codes and coding. Colour therapy and light. Associations, sound and a multisensory experience. In this particular work, inspired by the colour universe of design and specifically that of Paul Smith, his visual codes and language, colour codes = colour bars = rules and meanings. The perception of things through a simple juxtaposition of everyday banalities, photography and textures, in short- Variants that can change how we see things including ourselves and make sense of these serendipities. Bonacic’s Monoskop, Guston’s landscapes and Gretchen Bender’s visual and sonar cacophony somewhere produced signals in my brain that create forests and oceans of memory and emotion which in turn lead to perceiving beauty in the utmost unexpected combinations, circumstances, serendipities and feelings. The film “THE GAME & THE ACROBAT” is about a rocket launch inside the brain, in this case, that of the artist. But this leads to a series of both random and coordinated outputs taking the audience into new and unpredictable journeys. The voyage of the selves.

BEHAVIOUR
The projectors play on both screens from opposite directions. The artwork being at the centre of both.
