NETWORKING SERENDIPITIES

NETWORKING SERENDIPITIES

Some original artworks and limited edition prints from this series are available exclusively on Artsy via House of the Nobleman. For enquiries please contact the gallery.

NETWORKING SERENDIPITIES is the title of the latest body of work featuring a set of new media and multi-media practicable installations. These works are conceived as one consistent series that are in clear dialogue and in organic relationship with and amongst each other as well as the audience. As well as being standalone artworks made with solid materials and machinery, pigments and otherwise, they are also “networked” and are influenced by and reactive to the audience interactions, some more than others.

They are created as one body of work and are interchangeable. This is part of a study of what Networks could become in any probable and varied contexts and change our sensory experience, our perception and hence our neural connections. The data, algorithmic, visual and audio contents are influenced largely when they are taken out of the digital realm onto the real worlds and this shift is ruled by variables that humans can or cannot control.

A running theme is a rocket launch, space and the brain networks, the beginning of a reshaped “reality” of a transhumanist future. All these artworks had been the result of a long and complex process of online/offline exchanges, digital/analogue and even painterly or technological transformations, research and experimentations and varied iterations and outcomes. The series also feature multiple video works that form both the inclusive content of the artworks and projected ones.
